Tradition meets innovation. A look at over 150 years of experience. With innovative solutions, RÖDERS in Soltau, Germany, has been a globally recognized and leading partner in the market for versatile felt solutions for over 150 years.
In 1851
we began as a company department of the bed feather factory Fa. Carl Breiding & Sohn with the wool felt production.
1922
the change to an independent company and the current name: Gebr. RÖDERS AG. Since then, we have focused on the production of high-quality wool felts.

1966
the production range was expanded to include the manufacture of needle felts.
1972
derived from this the production of the first filter felts.
1986
we started the production of needle felt hoses for trenchless pipe rehabilitation with our own patent.
In the search for innovative solutions, we see ourselves as your partner and together we develop future-oriented application areas and system solutions. As a result, more and more special solutions from our company are being used around the world: be it in the renovation of pipelines, filtration, in the wide range of technical applications in industry, for design objects or even as a high-quality wool felt material, e.g. for the shoe industry.

With our mission statement, we communicate to all stakeholders our principles and intentions for action, on which our joint success is based.
Quality always has something to do with management.
As one of the first production companies in the industry, we were certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. As a result, we have made a name for ourselves in recent years as a reliable industrial partner for the development and production of highly specialized textile applications.
Ongoing investments in equipment and the permanent training and further education of our employees form the basis for quality and market-oriented products.
In the company’s own laboratory, in addition to intensive testing of the produced goods and new developments, we also carry out tests on behalf of customers.
Quality is not a coincidence with us.
All our goals, processes and functions are geared to the requirements of our clients – in this regard, we take the responsibility of sustainable production very seriously.
For the entire production, we use only certified green electricity and have also installed a waste minimization system that guarantees resource-saving optimization.
Our responsibility towards the environment by no means stops at production, but continues in project-related research work with universities and active participation in EU environmental protection projects.
Similarly, we ensure absolutely low susceptibility to errors and thus a secure, sustainable rehabilitation result for the pipe network operator through cross-partner quality assurance.

The GSTT (German Society for Trenchless Technology) promotes the ecologically and economically exemplary trenchless construction and maintenance of underground pipelines of all kinds.
ASSOCIATION OF THE NORTHWEST GERMAN TEXTILE AND CLOTHING INDUSTRY E.V.
The Association of the Northwest German Textile and Clothing Industry is an employer and business association for about 300 companies in the textile and clothing industry in Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen and Hamburg.

Reading aloud made easy – that’s the idea behind the project “My dad reads aloud!”, which Stiftung Lesen launched in 2010, initially in Hesse, together with the “hessenstiftung – familie hat zukunft”
